Spanish Sunday brought us silver position, bronze we lost thanks to the second penalization

The second part of the third race of European Truck Racing Championship in Spanish Albacete brought us again results to celebrate. Finally all three MKR pilots ended up on the podium. Our young driver Adam Lacko fought for the second position in the main race which he kept till the end.
Only Jochen Hahn managed to be faster again. The third driver of the race who completed the podium was Uwe Nittel. The big disappointment was the first penalization of our Markus Oestreich in Super pole where he was forced to start tenth although he made the third best lap time. Finally in the race he gained one more place and finished ninth. Markus Bosiger finished sixth.
Handicap race was again very exciting and full of fights. The team nearly accepted Markus Bosiger´s forth position when in the last lap he overtook third Stuart Oliver. The victory belonged to Antonio Albacete and behind, on the silver position, came Hahn. However the happiness from MKR´s bronze either gold of Equipo Cepsa didn´t last long when both pilots were penalized for unsporting behaviour in the race when overtaking Oliver. Markus Bosiger after the second penalization of team MKR that day dropped only one place back. Spanish Albacete had bigger reason to be angry when he lost his victory and moved to the third position. Other way round Jochen Hahn was the one who profited most from these penalizations and gained full points for gold. Adam Lacko finished seventh straight before Markus Oestreich.
