Sensational Sunday brought us two double podiums and a victory

„I take complete satisfaction from today. The bad luck I had from the beginning was unbelievable. After all the troubles I didn´t think that the end of the weekend would be so great. I am very happy. Sunday was perfect and I have to admit that I have no idea myself how I managed to get to first position and finally win,“ said with enthusiasm, the golden boy Adam Lacko.

Already in morning qualifying we believed that the bad luck was finally over when, surprisingly, Markus Bösiger posted the fastest lap time taking pole position. Despite not converting this advantage into victory the team could celebrate their first Russian double podium. Jochen Hahn won the first race but close behind him were our drivers Adam Lacko and Markus Bösiger.

Absolute satisfaction came in the following handicap race when Adam Lacko showed how brilliantly he can start. From his starting position of seventh he took the lead after the first corner. He held his lead to the end ahead of  his countryman David Vršecký and team mate Markus Bösiger.

This time the bad luck fell on Markus Oestreich who finished the first race ninth and was unable to finish the second. In both rases we were first in the team championship. „The races in Russia brought a lot of changes, good ones as well as bad ones. The start of the weekend was not so good but finally the good luck came to our side. We saw that Albacete and Nittel had problems too and that Hahn is not so dominant now. The trucks got into good shape as well so the beginning of the second half of the season was very stimulating. I believe that at our home race in Most next month we could be even better than here in Russia,“ summarised with his desire to with, team boss Mario Kress.
