Adam Lacko gets married

Two weeks ago in Smolensk, Russia, he triumphed in his first race of the European Truck Racing Championship this year. In two weeks‘ time he is aiming to repeat the success before the eyes of home crowds at the track in Most. However, unlike fans in Russia, Czech audience will see an important premiere. Our pilot Adam Lacko will experience another exceptional „first“ at the next stop of the series – for the first time in his life he is going to start as a real man. In the break between both racing weekends the driver decided to go full throttle in his personal life and got married to his long-time girlfriend Kateřina Dvořáková.
The current Czech number one in the European Truck Racing Championship tables had an open-air wedding ceremony close to the Ferdinand spring colonnade in Mariánské Lázně. “After six years together and nudging from people around we simply decided to tie the knot,“ laughed the new hubby Adam Lacko, whose best man was no one else than another successful automobile racer and a test driver of the Lotus Renault Formula 1 team Jan Charouz. In the lavish ceremony attended by more than two hundred guests the bride’s decision was witnessed by her maid of honour, friend Pavlína Skružná.
