Kilometres of cables are now being installed by electro-engineers into our racing specials. All of the four trucks built for the new season must receive brand new electric systems. In order for everything to work and the pilot to have the whole truck under control our engineers are as busy as bees making a precise effort. more

Our pilot Adam Lacko accepted an award in the prestigious Golden Steering Wheel survey. In the closely-observed category of track race pilots the jury awarded him with a third place, similar to his ranking in the last year’s Truck European Championship. As usual, the survey was ruled by Tomáš Enge. more

Only a few kilometres from our base there are unique trailers being built which resemble the toy machines from the American Transformers blockbuster. There is only a small number of groups constructing a ‘transformer‘ like this which, with one push of a button, can turn itself from an ordinary looking truck into a pub on wheels for a hundred people. In the Czech Republic, one piece like this is being built in Štětí, the Litoměřice region, and our MKR team is at the birth of this European uniqueness. more

Although the management of our team have been keeping further information under cover, it is a sure thing that our boss Mario Kress and his team have been constructing another mighty giant to put the wind up our opponents. more

We enjoyed the Christmas Day a bit earlier than others. Almost all our team members met up at the festive table to close this year’s successful season. All the stress was replaced with a relaxed atmosphere and greased tools with greasy cutlery. Even the Baby Jesus came. more

A completely different race than what we are used to. We have replaced one of our racing trucks with a minimalist open kart. Although there was no European champion’s title at stake this time, the race proved that even our team manager Mario Kress is at home behind the wheel and the other team members make skilled drivers, too. more

This year is literally a podium season for Adam Lacko. Not only has he become Europe’s third best pilot, but he also climbed one rank higher when the best pilots of the Spanish trophy were announced. Overall, Lacko landed the silver spot, losing to the last year’s champion and the title’s defending pilot Antonio Albacete. more

Michal Matějovský, the young French Anthony Janiec and the legendary Ludovic Faure, Oestreich Junior or the only woman of the European Truck Racing Championship Stefi Halm. Our boss Mario Kress decided to test this, putting all of the above mentioned names into our Renaults and letting them ‘fly around’ the popular Most track. more

Adam Lacko’s racing truck was disassembled literally into the last screw. In spite of that, this Friday the first test since the end of the season is going to take place. The Most track, where the test drives are going to take place, will be visited by the only female participant of the European Truck Racing Championship, Germany’s Stephanie Halm. We’re planning to try out not only some new technical modifications but also several candidates we might be working with in the next season. more

Quarries are always counted after the hunt. This old Czech saying is always a certain invitation for settling the accounts. The most suitable time for this comes after the season’s end. So how did the last year’s European Championship work out for our team? After Adam Lacko’s third place and our second and third position in the team competition, the FIA international automotive federation’s award ceremony confirmed our role as the Czech number one, putting our name among the European elite. However, behind the trophies there are individual results and looking back, we have every reason to be satisfied. more

The Thursday return from the racing weekend in Le Mans and the following exhibition at the Renault Trucks factory took our boss Mario Kress by surprise, to say the least. Instead of enjoying the positive response to the team’s victorious performance in France and the sensational season’s ending in general, after we reached for the third place in the European Championship’s overall ranking and the silver and bronze medals in the constructors’ competition, it came as a cold shower when rumours doubting our success occurred. While Mario’s already bursting with ideas for the next season, our Czech opponent has been overwhelmed with the past. more

The last main race of this year’s European Truck Racing Championship in Le Mans, France, saw David Vršecký make a fatal mistake. Not only that with his driving style together he caused a serious accident with the assistance of Antonio Albacete but this also cost him his position of the Czech number one, moving his team under the podium to the much hated fourth place in the Teams’ Championship. Thanks to his final third the title of the best Czech pilot can now be assigned to our young pilot Adam Lacko, whilst MKR Technology has become the best Czech team. more

Literally three millimeters decided the final podium positions of the European Truck Racing Championship this year. Our dream of winning consecutive Team Championships, repeating our success of last year fell away in Saturday´s main race in Le Mans, France. our three trucks were supposed to start from the first three positions on the grid after a great result in qualifying but what followed was a penalty after the scrutineering officials measured the chassis on our trucks and decided that two of them were too low. This meant that Markus Bösiger and Markus Oestreich would have to start at the back of the field. Just three millimetres saw the end of a very good points result. Adam Lacko tried to raise the mood of the team with a third place in race 1 and a win in race 2. more

Qualifying on Sunday didn’t go according to plan for the MKR Technology team. Although the weather was still warm and dry the best lap times were actually slightly slower than on Saturday. Oestreich was quickest of the Renault drivers with a lap of 1m.58.743s – which secured 3rd place on the grid. Just 0.415s.slower in 4th was Adam Lacko while Markus Bosiger managed a best time of 1m.59.355s – leaving him 7th on the grid. more

The Saturday Qualifying session produced a fantastic result for the trio of Meritor-sponsored MKR Renaults – with Markus Bosiger topping the timesheets with a lap of 1m.58.240s. Markus Oestreich joined him on the front row - just 0.358s slower than his team-mate – while Adam Lacko completed a top three lock-out, only 0.125s. behind the German. Local hero Antonio Albacete lined up 4th on the grid with fellow MAN driver and championship leader Jochen Hahn 6th fastest. more

The last but one stop of the European Truck Racing Championship in the Spanish town of Jarama is planned for this weekend. And a lot will be at stake. The front is packed in the individuals‘ as well as the teams‘ competition. Even the smallest mistake could tear down our, still big, dreams, and that is why everyone is focusing on the result so much. No wonder that not even Adam Lacko‘s weekend birthday party – the whole team wishes Adam all the best! - unleashed a premature celebration. more

Despite some heavy overnight rain the Zolder circuit was dry for the Sunday morning Qualifying session. The conditions certainly seemed to suit the three MKR Technology drivers who succeeded in stealing the top three spots in the ‘Top 10’ shootout with their Meritor-equipped Renaults. more

First qualifying on Saturday morning saw the drivers attacking a dry track – and the MKR Technology trio were again on top form. Pole position in the ‘Top 10’ shoot out went to Adam Lacko – the young Czech in the MKR Renault setting a best time of 1m.57.018s. (Average speed 1230.05km/h). That was 0.493 secs quicker then his nearest rival – reigning European Champion Antonio Albacete. Just 0.314s behind the Spanish driver was Markus Bosiger (1m.57.825s) with Markus Oestreich making it an all-Renault second row with a time of 1m.58.204s. more

Originally, he is a constructor from Germany. However, he has lived in Czech for more than ten years, having settled in Židovice near Roudnice with his wife Klára. His working discipline is incredible. In fact, who hasn’t seen him wouldn’t believe it. Thanks to his dilligence and skillfulness combined with a vision and determination he built our team from scratch last year. The Czech number one formation is attacking the European championship title in its second season. And it was Mario Kress who scored a historic result at the recent event in Most – sensationally, entire winners‘ podium after the main race was occupied by his pilots. more

The only lady within our team celebrated her anniversary. Executive head and above all a jewel among the MKR gentlemen will now be in her thirties. Although the turning point came in the week before the Most races, as lately as this weekend the right celebration could have been arranged. And there was a reason to celebrate twice thanks to the success achieved in Most! The great mood of everyone in the team brought an inspiration for choosing the presents. The biggest surprise was a present from Klara’s husband Mario – jukebox in Elvis Presley times style. Klara, the whole team wishes you not only good luck, health and lot of love, above all a lot of joy and your lovely grins for every day! more

In Most he collected the highest number of points in this year’s season, stood on the winners‘ podium for three times, recorded wins before his fans and helped his colleagues Bösiger and Oestreich reach a historic result, when they occupied the podium exclusively for themselves. Our pilot Adam Lacko confirmed his position of Czech number one. more

In both races the Czech national anthem could be heard with the first one belonging to our driver Adam Lacko who won the first race after leading from start to finish. more

After Moto GP, the Czech Republic is going to host another huge motor sport event. Already this weekend, the mighty engines are going to thunder at the racing track in Most, where the seventh event of the European Championship will be held. And especially Czech fans should be on alert – truck racing is a different sport than Formula 1, which usually runs on Sundays. more

Two weeks ago in Smolensk, Russia, he triumphed in his first race of the European Truck Racing Championship this year. In two weeks‘ time he is aiming to repeat the success before the eyes of home crowds at the track in Most. However, unlike fans in Russia, Czech audience will see an important premiere. Our pilot Adam Lacko will experience another exceptional „first“ at the next stop of the series – for the first time in his life he is going to start as a real man. In the break between both racing weekends the driver decided to go full throttle in his personal life and got married to his long-time girlfriend Kateřina Dvořáková. more

Next event of the Truck Racing Championship series is scheduled already in two weeks. This time it is going to be a treat especially for Czech fans, since the trucks are going to match their powers at the Most track. Regulations state that a track must not be used for testing later than fourteen days before a race. Nevertheless, we were not the only team at the venue. more

Our team had an absolutely great finish to the sixth round of the European Truck Racing Championship. During the second day of „ Truck Battle Russia“ we gained two double podiums and a victory to finish the day. more

Markus Oestreich showed the Russian croud all of his class with an unbelievable performance. With his rear brakes on fire towards the end of the race he held on to win Saturday´s handicap race at the sixth round of the European Truck Truck Racing Championship in Smolensk, Russia. From the beginning of the Russian truck battle luck was not on our side. The flames flickering from the brake calipers was a relatively small problem that fortunately didn´t cost us the victory. After all the other problems suffered early in the weekend the victory was a great result. more

It was the first historical visit of our pilot Markus Oestreich in our team’s home facility. Although he had visited Czech countless times, we welcomed him in his home-ground of our technology only now, in the time of heated preparations for the last testing after which we leave for the sixth event of the European Truck Racing Chmpionship in Smolensk, Russia. more

The past weekend gave the public an exceptional opportunity to see our racing machine in a whole new role. Apart from an exhibition in Poland we had been invited to open the traditional bicycle race Za pěnivou důvou in the neighbouring town of Terezín. It was no one else but Adam Lacko and his truck who were making way for the three hundred competitors. A one-day event dedicated to bike-lovers was attended by a record-breaking number of visitors who could watch some great sport performances. more

Our Renaults ran like an express train once again on Sunday at the Nurburgring. Not only in the main race of European Truck Racing Championship were all three trucks in formation but also in handicap race the podium places were taken by two of our drivers – Lacko and Bosiger. more

The weekend´s first race finished in the same manner as Friday´s timed practice at the fifth stop of the European Truck Racing Championship at the Nurburgring circuit in Germany. Thanks to Markus Oestreich we celebrated second place close behind the race winner Jochen Hahn. more

Faith of the Nürburgring racing track is a matter which touches also our team and that is why we have decided to support the „Save the ring“ initiative. For the upcoming weekend race, which will be hosted here as the fifth event of the European truck racing championship, we have prepared a logo to support the cause. more

Make the truck stable and speed up. That was the main task our racing group was facing in the past several days during a testing session at the Most track. Preparations for the fifth event of this year’s European truck racing championship at Nürburgring are at its peak. more

Not only that at the fourth stop of the European championship in the French town of Nogaro did our Renaults closely follow one another at the finishing line but they also collected valuable points for the team competition. Thanks to that we did not miss the winners‘ podium one single time and we could even enjoy the members of both our racing projects having a date up there. Simply, the opposing constructor teams had a lot to envy. more

Sunday’s racing at the fourth stop of the European Truck Racing Championship at the Nogaro circuit in France was very good for us. All three MKR drivers spent the whole day in tandem, one after the other in a train like fashion. Whilst during the first race of the day they were not able to fight for the podium positions, the afternoon handicap race nearly saw the big dream about a complete MKR podium come true. Again it was prevented by just one, but an altogether more surprising competitor. more

Having been so close, twice we didn´t reach the podium during the first day of the fourth stop of the European Truck Racing Championship at the Nogaro circuit in France. Although it was clear from the start that current king of the circuits is Jochen Hahn, the difference between starting from pole is getting closer from race to race and the fights harder. Tough collisions are the result. more

We have a new toy in our team which has kept our boss Mario Kress occupied for long hours. Is there nothing else to get done? Are our technicians wasting some precious time here? No way. The new device was testing the shock absorbers of our trucks so thoroughly that it revealed a slip we had not expected. more

Three out of four races of the Spanish episode of the truck racing championship in Albacete were dominated by our pilot Adam Lacko last weekend. In every single race Adam left behind even the reigning European champion Antonio Albacete. Eventually, the Spaniard was victorious in the last race, which saw Lacko on the third spot. more

The second part of the third race of European Truck Racing Championship in Spanish Albacete brought us again results to celebrate. Finally all three MKR pilots ended up on the podium. Our young driver Adam Lacko fought for the second position in the main race which he kept till the end. more

Indeed, our team got a load of support from the former winner of the prestigious beauty contest Kateřina Sokolová, who came to the Italian town of Misano to watch the second event of the European championship truck racing series. more

He always crosses his fingers tight. Every race, every training session, on and on again as his pilots slam the gas pedals of Renaults he has built, he sticks to his ritual no matter what. Our team’s boss Mario Kress literally lives for truck racing and works with his team in that way – to be the one who dictates the pace of the European championship series. However, after the second stop in Misano, Italy, he rolled his eyes in disbelief a few times, but finally, with his typical determination to fight, he brought up his mantra: “Innovation has no limits, it’s a matter of time.“ It’s as simple as that, Mario never gives up and turns every failure into a driving force on the way to victory. more

Absolute bad luck came in the second day´s racing in Misano, Italy. Although we could be happy for Markus Bosiger´s third place in the main cup race there were incidents in both Sunday races that didn´t make us happy at all. Hahn´s performance was consistent with Saturday with nobody able to match him. more

Twice during the first day at the Italian circuit of Misano Markus Oestreich stood on the podium. In the first cup race he took third place and he followed that up with second place in the handicap race. The king of the day was the German, Jochen Hahn, who won both races at the second round of the European truck racing championship. more

All three of our pilots headed to the Most track for a special testing session. The Swiss Bösiger, Oestreich from Germany and the Czech Lacko plus the entire team were fine-tuning their trucks for the second stop of the European Championship series in Misano, Italy. more
